School Board approves “Foxbank Elemenatary School” name in Foxbank Plantation

On October 14th, Berkeley County School Board voted unanimously to approve the name “Foxbank Elementary School” for a new school slated to open for Fall 2018 in Foxbank Plantation in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. TRG Communities is excited to have Berkeley County School Board move forward with their plans to launch a K-5 elementary school on a 20-acre parcel located in the heart of the neighborhood. Foxbank Plantation is a lifestyle community of over 800 acres with a vibrant mix of homes, shops, churches, offices and now an upcoming elementary school. Expected to open in Fall 2018, we are thrilled for our parents (and soon to be parents!) in our community that will soon be able to walk or bike their child to a brand-new elementary school.

TRG Communities is no stranger to promoting neighborhood schools; they have a proven track record of cultivating neighborhood lifestyles and community connections in over 50 communities across the southeast. Research suggests that communities where children can walk or bike to school lead healthier lives, encouraging healthier habits and ultimately reducing the risk of obesity and chronic diseases. In addition, having the opportunity to walk or bike to a neighborhood school builds a stronger sense of community among families, neighbors, school officials and community leaders. TRG Communities looks forward to the impact Foxbank Elementary School will have on the community, parents and children.   Foxbank Elementary will be located directly off Foxbank Plantation Road near the intersection of Yorkshire Drive.
